The Supreme Court in a 5-3 decision ruled that Cities decimated by subprime and other bad mortgages can sue Banks for selling this junk.
Newly minted supreme court justice, Neil Gorsuch,was not involved in the case.
The decision was handed down on May 1, 2017.
The lead case involves Miami and accuses lenders of predatory lending in violation of parts of the Fair Housing Act.
